Karlovac cener is a road athletic race with a total length of 10,000 m. The race consists of 3 laps of 3.3 km. Control points are located at the farthest parts of the track and at the start and finish area. The race starts at 8:30 PM on Friday, June 12, 2026. in Karlovac near the School Sports Hall in Rakovac.

All healthy competitors can participate and everyone runs at their own risk. By registering for the race, the competitor waives the possibility of transferring responsibility to the race organizer and confirms his state of health and readiness to finish the race. The organizer has provided medical protection in accordance with the rules for holding road athletics races.

Anyone who is over 14 years old on the day of the race can take part in the race.

By registering for the race, the competitor agrees that the organizer may use photos taken during, immediately before and after the race for its own internal needs and the needs of promoting the event. The contestant agrees that the organizer may use his personal data for internal communication and for the organizer’s promotional purposes.

Refreshments are provided at the very start, during the race and in the finish area. Additional refreshments are provided in the target area. Timing is electronic with the use of chips, and all results will be published immediately after the end of the race on the organizer’s official website. All competitors will have a net (chip start) and gross time (time from the starter’s signal to start the race until the competitor enters the finish line). The gross time of the competitors is taken as the official ranking in accordance with the rules of World Athletics (World Athletics Federation).

The starting number is placed exclusively on the chest and must be visible during the entire race. During the race, competitors must have the corresponding chip in addition to their starting number, without which their ranking will not be recorded. Violation of the rules entails the disqualification of the competitor.

The time limit is 1:30h (9:00/km).

Unofficial race results will be announced immediately after the race. The right to appeal lasts three days after the publication of unofficial results. After the right of appeal has expired, the results become official.

Traffic is closed and a police escort (motorcycle) is provided in front of the first group of competitors. The bike follows the leading female runner and the leading relay team.

Unless otherwise stated, the rules of the Croatian Athletics Federation, harmonized with the WA rules, apply.
